As many as 795 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 2,099 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 795 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 126,518 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 35 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 8, medical assistants –21, auxiliary staff employees – 6.

A number of 3,786 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 290 are in extremely serious condition (64 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 9,106 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 31,882 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 1,168 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 108,901 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 25 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,572 people dead because of the virus till present.
