Moldovan government to convene in meeting to consider amendments to budget laws

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/- The number one priority is the approval of the main budget laws, and today most likely the government will convene in a meeting to consider the amendments to the state budget law, social security and health insurance budgets and budgetary-fiscal policy. Acting President Igor Dodon made the statement today.
The constitutional deadline for submitting amendments by deputies has expired in recent days. During the period, several hundred pages of amendments were submitted, which will be discussed and approved by the government, after which they will be sent to the parliament.
The head of state said that in December, the revenues from the Tax and Customs Service increased compared to the same period last year and gave assurances that this month all social payments will be paid on time.
Dodon said that the inauguration of President-elect Maia Sandu will take place on December 24, and he will be present at the ceremony, as well as the current top leadership of the country.
