Moldovan government approves providing one-off support of 1,000 lei to people with monthly incomes up to 4,000 lei

Chisinau, 14 December /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today approved an amendment to the draft law of the state social insurances budget for 2021, which sees the providing of a one-off financial support of 1,000 lei for the beneficiaries of pensions and state social allocations, the monthly quantum of which do not exceed 4,000 lei, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

"We point out, in particular, the identification of possibility to earmark this financial support, of 1,000 lei this time. I think that this is a welcome support, from which more than 690,000 people will benefit,’’ PM Ion Chicu said at the cabinet meeting.

About 696,000 lei will be allocated for providing the one-off financial support worth 1,000 at the expense of the transfers from the state budget for the state social insurances budget.
