Romanian authorities do not include Moldova among states with high epidemiological risk

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Romanian citizens with residence in Moldova can travel to Romania without staying in quarantine.
The Romanian Embassy in Moldova today informed that the Romanian authorities had prolonged by 30 days the alert state all over Romania; thus, certain restrictions are imposed at the entrance in Romania.
According to the information unveiled by the Romanian authorities, Moldova is not in the list of countries with high epidemiological risk; thus, the Romanian citizens living in Moldova, including the persons with dual or multiple citizenship, of which one Romanian citizenship, are allowed to enter Romania, without being obliged to be in quarantine.
At the same time, the citizens who do not hold the Romanian citizenship are allowed to enter Romania, only if they fit the exceptions provided for in the Romanian state’s legislation in force.
The exception from the quarantine measure is applied also to the people who arrive in Romania from the countries/regions with high epidemiological risk, if they remain on the territory of Romania for a period shorter than 3 days (72 hours) and present a negative test for SARS-CoV-2, made by 48 hours before entering Romania at the earliest.
