Romania principal destination country for Moldovan exports

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The exports of goods meant for the European Union countries in January-October 2020 amounted to 1,340.5 million dollars, with 28.2 per cent of all goods exported to Romania.
The National Statistics Bureau informed that, in January-October 2020, the exports of goods had amounted to 2,004.9 million dollars – by 12.6 per cent less than on the same period of 2019.
The European Union countries represented the principal destination of Moldovan goods. In January-October 2020, the goods export totaled 1,340.5 million dollars, with a weight of 66.9 per cent of all exports. Statistics data shows that 28.2 per cent of all goods exported had the destination Romania. Germany is on the second position with 9.3 per cent of all export and Italy ranks third with 8.5 per cent.
On the period of January-October this year, the export of goods meant for the Commonwealth of Independent States countries had a value of 305.1 million dollars. Most exports meant for the CIS countries went to Russia, 8.9 per cent of all exports, Belarus – 2.7 per cent, Ukraine – 2.6 per cent.
