Budget laws voted in second reading

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/- MPs voted yesterday in the second reading the draft Law on the state budget for 2021, the draft budget-fiscal policy, the law on compulsory health insurance funds, the state social insurance budget.
The budget laws were adopted in the second reading with the vote of 56 Socialist deputies, Shor and those from the Platform for Moldova.
Thus, after examining all the amendments, the deputies approved the revenues of the state budget at the level of 41.415 billion lei, increasing by 4.2 billion lei (11.3%) compared to the state budget approved for 2020. The increase in revenues is due to increased tax revenues and grant inflows.
The state budget expenditures represent 55.399 billion lei, registering an increase of 2.2 billion lei (4.1%) compared to the approved state budget in 2020. The state budget expenditures are determined by the objectives of the Budget Policy on medium term.
The budget deficit is estimated at 13.984 billion lei.
