Artur Gumeniuc released as deputy head of Intelligence and Security Service

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/- Artur Gumeniuc was released from the position of deputy head of the Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova. The presidential decree in this regard will be published in the Official Journal tomorrow.

Under the art. 13 (4) of the Law on Intelligence and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova, the president decrees: Artur Gumeniuc is released from the position of deputy head of SIS.

The decree shall enter into force upon signature.

Artur Gumeniuc was appointed deputy head of SIS by the parliament on 25 June 2019, at the proposal of SIS director Alexandr Esaulenco.
