Decision on expropriation of lands to be published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/- The government decision on expropriation of lands located on the site of the construction works of the gas transmission pipeline in Ungheni-Chisinau will be published in the Official Journal on 18 December.

Under the document, land from six localities in Straseni, Calarasi and Chisinau will be expropriated.

The people affected by the construction of the gas transmission pipeline in the direction of Ungheni-Chisinau will be compensated from funds of the state budget and financial means of Vestmoldtransgaz Ltd or its successor in rights.

Additional amounts from the state budget will be allocated for compensation of the lands permanently affected by the construction of the gas transmission pipeline in the direction of Ungheni-Chisinau.

The decision enters into force tomorrow upon publication in the Official Journal of Moldova.
