Chisinau city hall bought two ambulances for Covid-19 Chisinau Center

Chisinau, 18 December /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau administration purchased two ambulances for the Covid-19 Chisinau Center.

Chisinau city hall has allocated one million lei for the purchase of two vehicles, and the cost of the two ambulances, including bringing them to the country was 700 thousand lei. The municipal administration states that another ambulance to purchase from the remaining amount.

The transport units are meant for emergency medical intervention and inter-hospital transfer of patients.

The ambulances, manufactured in 2015 are equipped with intensive care medical equipment, systems for monitoring the vital functions of the patient. Patients in serious condition, who will be transferred from the Covid-19 Center to the strategic municipal hospitals will receive emergency medical care accordingly.

The city hall plans to purchase several medical transport units for municipal medical institutions.
