Public health commission sets out new restrictions

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall banned on 22 December 2020 - 15 January 2021, the conduct of festive events and ceremonies on winter holidays in bars and restaurants. Also, all artistic and entertainment activities, dances and competitions, other types of entertainment in the context of winter holidays are prohibited.

The Public Health Commission issued a decision maintaining the state of emergency in public health based on indicators of the level of risk of transmitting the SARS-CoV-2 virus. At the same time, to prevent COVID-19 infection, it banned the conduct of festive ceremonies on winter holidays in bars and restaurants and the conduct of entertainment activities.

Also, Chisinau residents are urged to use fireworks with extreme caution during the winter holidays.

At the same time, the Central Market will have a modified work schedule. Thus, 28 December and 4 January are declared working days, and 2 and 8 January - sanitary days.
