State budget law for 2021 published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/- The law on state budget for 2021, the law on state social insurance budget for 2021 and the law on compulsory health insurance funds for 2021 were published in the Official Journal.

Under the document, the state budget for 2021 is approved for revenues worth 41415400,0 thousand lei and expenses 55399600.0 thousand lei, with a deficit of 13984200.0 thousand lei.

The document sees that the Ministry of Finance authorizes: to change following a request of the central public authorities the established indicators of the state budget for revenues and expenditures according to the grants, donations, sponsorships and other additional means, to redistribute at the proposal of the National Agency for Research and Development the means allocated for the organization and conduct of project competitions between central public authorities acting as founders of public law organizations in research and innovation, to contract during the budget year domestic loans on the state securities market beyond the limits provided by the state budget, due in 2021, to cover the temporary cash gap of the state budget etc.

The law enters into force on 1 January 2021.

PAS lawmakers filed today a complaint to the Constitutional Court on a priori and partial control of the constitutionality of the state budget law for 2021.
