Moldovan fine artist makes 15 painting, sculpture works

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - A well-known fine artist, Gheorghe Postovanu has recently made 15 painting and sculpture works.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Gheorghe Postovanu said that ten out of these works were paintings and five – sculpture. ‘’With the sculpture work - Echo, which symbolizes a world catastrophe through the destruction of the nature, I participated in the Exhibition and Contest of Contemporary Art, Moldova’s Saloons, the 30th issue, 2020, and with the second painting, Furtuna (Storm) – at the Autumn Saloons,,’’ the author said.
At the same time, Gheorghe Postovanu participated in a contest organized by the National Trade Unions Confederation in Moldova on the building of a monument in the memory of the victims dead in labour accidents, which he won.
”The monument will be named Atropos. This is a personage of the Greek mythology. I will soon participate in an exhibition with a painting work, The Shirt of Victory, which represents a bloodied shirt, ornamented with portraits of rulers and the picture of Jesus Christ is in the centre,’’ Postovanu also said.
Gheorghe Postovanu was born in the Satul Nou village on 1 June 1960. He graduated from the Fine Arts Faculty of the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University and the Fine Arts Faculty of the Music, Theatre and Fine Arts Academy of Chisinau during 1983-1990. In 1997, he became member of the International Association of Fine Artists UNESCO.
Gheorghe Postovanu participated in more national and international exhibitions. He made public forum monuments in Moldova, Australia Cyprus, Greece and other states.
