Maximum margin to be 3 per cent in First Home programme in Moldova in 2021

Chisinau, 22 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a decision on establishing for 2021 of a maximum margin within the First Home state programme.
Under the cabinet decision, the size of the maximum margin, which creditors can apply during 2021 for the loans guaranteed by state based on the First home state programme, is established at 3 per cent annually.
„The size of the maximum margin is applied to facility contracts signed starting from the date of entrance into force of the present decision,’’ the document reads.
The present decision enters into force on 1 January 2021.
So far, 5,253 dwellings have been bought through the First Home governmental programme. The overall sum of the loans provided by banks is of 2.64 billion lei and the total value of active guarantees is of 1.32 billion lei.
Any Moldova’s citizen with ages between 18 and 50 years, who are officially employed at a state institution or private company from Moldova, and have incomes from official sources, can be beneficiary of the First Home governmental programme. The share of the initial own participation is 5 per cent of the dwelling’s purchasing price.
