First 44 ambulances purchased by Moldova from Turkey brought to Chisinau

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - The first set of 44 B- and C-type ambulances purchased from Turkey are received by Moldova. The vehicles are to be provided to the National Centre of Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Assistance.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), the new ambulances are endowed with the most advanced medical equipments. They were bought from the non-resident economic operator DAS Ozel Saglik of Turkey, which is to provide another 122 ambulances.
The Centre for Public Procurements in Health carried out the procedure of public procurement as to the acquisition of B- and C-type ambulances, at a request by MSMPS, according to the needs of the National Centre of Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Assistance, within the framework agreement on loan between Moldova and the Council of Europe Development Bank. The overall value of the first consignment is of 2,665,428 euros.
