Exhibition of decorative, artistic pottery inaugurated at mseum from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition of decorative and artistic pottery on the Christmas topic, by ceramists Andrei and Victoria Sclifos, was inaugurated at the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum (MNEIN) today.
The event was organized by the host institution, in cooperation with the National Centre of Preservation and Promotion of the Immaterial Cultural Heritage.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, MNEIN director Petru Vicol said that the exhibition comprised over 200 pieces. ‘’This is an exceptional exhibition of pieces of decorative and artistic pottery of the family Andrei and Victoria Sclifos. These are highly valuable pieces, which during time will become art works and will complete collections of museums of Moldova and from abroad, as well as private collections,’’ Petru Vicol noted.
Andrei and Victoria Sclifos were highly appreciated at exhibitions from France, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Belgium, China and Romania.
The exhibition will be open till 14 February 2021.
