As many as 815 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 December /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2691 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, being confirmed 815 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which five were imported. So far, 140,250 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 41 are medical workers: doctors - 8, nurses - 20, auxiliary staff - 12.

7,603 people are undergoing home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, and 34,977 are under home supervision.

Another 1,288 people were healed. In total, 125,212 people were treated with COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 22 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 2871.

So far, 65 medical workers have died from COVID-19 infection.
