As many as 746 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2,342 tests were processed in Moldova, being confirmed 746 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which five were imported. So far, 140,996 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 25 are medical workers: doctors - 7, nurses - 13, auxiliary staff - 5.

At the same time, in home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19 there are 7,565 people, and 34,522 are under home supervision.

Another 1,439 people were healed. In total, 126,651 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 12 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 2,883.
