As many as 359 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 1,127 tests were processed in Moldova, being confirmed 359 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, one of which was imported. So far, 141,355 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 14 are medical workers: doctors - 4, nurses - 9, auxiliary staff - 1.

At the same time, there are 7,491 people in home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19, and 33,910 are under surveillance at home.

Another 753 people were healed. In total, 127,404 people were treated with COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of eight other deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 2,891.
