Moldova's Dignity and Truth Platform reiterates position on need of snap parliamentary elections

Chisinau, 28 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Dignity and Truth Platform has reiterated its position on the need of snap parliamentary elections. The head of the platform’s parliamentary faction, Alexandru Slusari, made statements to this effect at the end of consultations with President Maia Sandu.

According to Slusari, the snap polls must take place in an as short period as possible. ‘’At the same time, we discussed a string of risks, problems dealing with the managements of crises in Moldova, related including to the sabotage on behalf of the former governance. We discussed the risks dealing with the macro-financial situation, administration of the pandemic crisis and farmers’ problems,’’ Slusari said.

Today morning, President Maia Sandu said she would have consultations with all parliamentary factions and groups. So far, Maia Sandu has had consultations with the faction of the Party of Socialists, Action and Solidarity Party and the lawmakers of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party.
