Prosecutors indicted former Moldovan Ambassador to Russia

Chisinau, 30 December /MOLDPRES/- PCCOCS prosecutors have indicted former Moldovan Ambassador to the Russian Federation. He was recognized and heard as an accused for complicity in smuggling.
According to PCCOCS data, the former diplomat pleaded not guilty.
Today, prosecutors demanded that the preventive measure be applied to the former ambassador - pre-trial detention for 30 days.
In the case of anabolics there are four defendants: two are in custody in the remand center. The court ordered the arrest in absentia with the search announcement to another accused. The fourth accused - former ambassador, today, the judge is to rule.
For such offenses, the criminal law provides for three to 10 years in prison.
