Over 500 rescuers, firemen to ensure fire safety on holidays

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/- Over 500 rescuers and firemen with 150 technical units will ensure fire safety on holidays.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, to ensure security in the IGSU subdivisions, officers and non-commissioned officers will work under 24 hours and will have the task to intervene in the calls of citizens on risks.
To prevent emergencies on New Year's Eve, firemen urge people to follow fire rules. People are urged not to launch fireworks and pyrotechnic materials, especially near residential and forest areas. Rescuers warn people to be careful when using open flames and heat sources operation.
