Moldovan capital's city hall not to organize public cultural events on New Year

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau municipal administration has reminded that no public cultural events would be held to mark the New Year on 31 December. All artistic cultural activities might be watched at the TV or online.

The Chisinau city hall informed that, on 31 December, the holiday cultural and artistic activities, envisaged by the Culture Department, could be watched on the Moldova 1 public television channel and on social networks, so that the citizens mark the New Year at home.

It is worth mentioning that the cultural and artistic events dedicated to the Christmas Holidays will be broadcast exclusively online, in order to diminish the risks of citizens’ infection with coronavirus.

At the same time, the city hall’s Culture Department worked out a programme with Christmas and New Year songs, Romanian carols, as well as from other parts of the world. They are heard in the Moldovan capital’s districts, in areas arranged for the winter holidays.
