Moldovan acting PM's message on occasion of old-style Christmas

Chisinau, 7 January /MOLDPRES/ - Dear citizens,  

Some of your celebrated the Birth of God on 25 December, the others will mark the Christmas tomorrow, on 7 January. No matter the period when you choose to mark this holy holiday according to the calendar, Christmas is family holiday, focused on spirituality, prayer and happiness of the Birth of the Savior.   

I want to convey to those from the country, as well as to numerous families of Moldovans from abroad sincere wishes of health, prosperity and peace of soul. May these holidays fill your hearts with peace and renew the wish to edify a better future.  

In this complicated year for many families, my thoughts of gratitude go to the medical staff, policemen, public and private sector employees, who on the next days will ensure the good work of the institutions with much responsibility and professionalism.

Dear citizens, dear friends,  

I come with the urge to prove responsibility and solidarity with each other, strictly observing the authorities’ sanitary recommendations and celebrating in conditions of safety in families with the beloved people for each of you.
