Obituary. Leonid Bujor

Chisinau, 7 January /MOLDPRES/ - We have learned, with deep sorrow, about the passing away of a former education minister, lawmaker of Moldova’s parliament, prime minister’s adviser Leonid Bujor.
Leonid Bujor was born in the Singureni village, Rascani district, on 27 November 1955.
After finishing the secondary school from Leadoveni (presently Corlateni), Rascani district, he studied at the State University of Moldova.
He was member of Moldova’s parliament in the legislative period 2005-2009.
Bujor acted as education minister in 2009-2011.
He practiced sport, with athleticism and football being his favourite disciplines. Afterwards, Bujor devoted himself to the work of managing this activity, which ensures sports performance at the highest level, as adviser of the National Olympic and Sports Committee.
Leonid Bujor was awarded the Order of Honour in 2010. On these moments of sorrow, we convey condolences and sympathy to the family, relatives, colleagues and all those who knew Mr. Leonid Bujor.
