Red health code maintained in Chisinau

Chisinau, 11 January /MOLDPRES/- The public health situation in Chisinau remains serious.

Tatiana Bucearschi, head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, said today at the online meeting of municipal services that the situation in public health in Chisinau remains serious, with 790 people diagnosed with COVID were hospitalized in municipal health institutions. "Of the 790 coronavirus patients, 43 are in very serious condition, 6 people are intubated, 275 are in serious condition, 453 are in moderate condition and 19 people have had mild forms of COVID-19," Bucearschi said.

According to the official, 2553 coronavirus patients are being treated at home. "Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, 62,969 cases of coronavirus disease have been registered in the municipality, of which 48,917 cases have been treated," Bucearschi said. Under the data, the red health code is maintained in Chisinau.
