Municipal services intervene with anti-skid material on roads from Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - Municipal services have spread 68.3 tons of salt and 36 tons of antiskid material on streets of the Chisinau city.

The Chisinau city hall informed that, in the wake of low air temperatures, the competent municipal services had intervened on streets from the capital and suburbs, in order to spread anti-skid material. Thus, to ensure the road traffic, 15 special vehicles spread 68.3 tons of pure salt and 36 tons of anti-skid material.   

At the same time, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said on social networks that, if low air temperatures were recorded at night, this action would continue.  

Also, the participants in an 11 January online meeting of the city hall’s services ruled to establish a crisis cell which will manage the severe winter situation, forecast for this week.
