Sports competitions to be resumed in Moldova in end of this week

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - The sports competitions will be resumed as of 16 January.

The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP) today ruled that, staring from 16 January 2021, the holding of sports competitions without spectators is allowed; the competitions are held in open air and in closed spaces by sports federations from Moldova, accredited by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.

Moldova’s authorities have extended the emergency state in the public health sector till 15 February. The document bans the activity of night clubs, discoteques, dance rings and other commercial units of this type. Also, the restaurants and coffee houses have a shorter schedule of work, beginning with 7:00 till 22:00.
