As many as 808 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,436 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 808 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 150,956 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 43 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –10, medical assistants –20 and auxiliary staff employees –13.

A number of 2,492 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 214 are in extremely serious condition (42 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

Another 790 people have been treated. As many as 140,217 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 17 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 3,193 people have died of coronavirus in all.
