Winter conditions on roads in Moldova

Chisinau, 14 January /MOLDPRES/- The State Road Administration announces that the condition of the roadway in the northern part of the country is wet, and in the southern and central areas - in some places it is slippery. Overnight road workers intervened with 69 machines.

According to ASD, patrol and anti-skid works were carried out last night on national public roads. The technological process was carried out with the use of 69 special machines and the involvement of 154 road workers in Chisinau, Balti, Singerei, Cahul, Cantemir, Taraclia, Causeni, Cimișlia, Leova, Anenii Noi, Dubasari, Ocnita, Hincesti, Orhei, Resina, Telenesti, Drochia, Glodeni, Riscani, Floresti, Soroca, Soldanesti, Calarasi, Straseni, Ungheni and Gagauzia.

At present, the accessibility of road infrastructure is ensured and road administrators monitor dangerous road sections so that traffic difficulties can be solved operatively.

Meteorologists have forecast low temperatures of up to -10 degrees Celsius for this weekend.
