Meteorologists issue Yellow Code of sharp weather change in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) informs about a yellow code of sharp weather change all over the country for 16-19 January. At night, the air temperature will oscillate between -10 and -15 Celsius degrees and during the day – between -5 and -10 degrees.

According to SHS, the average daily air temperature will drop by up to seven degrees against the norm and fog is expected in most regions. In the northern districts, the maximal air temperature will decrease to -10 degrees and -9 degrees will be recorded in the central Moldova. In the southern region, the air temperature will be -8 degrees.

The police warn drivers to endow their vehicles according to the winter conditions before setting out and observe the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation.

Air temperature down to -13 Celsius degrees, variable cloud and no precipitation is expected today.
