Moldovan Socialists' leader says Moldova might receive several hundreds of thousands of Russian vaccine Sputnik V

Chisinau, 18 January /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova might soon receive several hundreds of thousands of Sputnik V anti-Covid Russian vaccine. The leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Igor Dodon, today made statements to this effect. Dodon noted that he had agreed on this subject at a meeting with the deputy head of the Russian president’s administration, Dmitry Kozak.
"Last week, I paid a working meeting to Moscow and at a meeting with Mr. Kozak, we agreed that Moldova would receive several thousands of Russian vaccines Sputnik V, in order to start the anti-Covid vaccination,’’ Dodon said.
The PSRM leader specified that the formation he leads asked President Maia Sandu to nominate a prime minister till 1 February 2021, as the PSRM parliamentary faction would prepare a parliament’s plenary meeting for this day. Also, the Socialist MPs on 19 January will submit a notification to the Constitutional Court on the work of the head of state.
