New deputy head of Border Police appointed

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/- Petru Corduneanu is new deputy head of the Border Police. He was appointed by an order signed yesterday by Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Pavel Voicu.

The Minister's adviser, Alina Zbancă, said that the appointment order was signed on 18 January.

At the end of last year, Petru Corduneanu was appointed as deputy commander of the General Inspectorate of Carabineers, after resigning from the position of deputy head of the State Protection and Guard Service.
