Three villages from south Moldova district to have access to qualitative drinking water

Chisinau, 19 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Regional Development Agency South (ADR Sud) has recently signed a new contractor agreement worth about 20 million lei on the carrying out of works within the investment project, Supply with drinking water of settlements Sarma, Tochile-Raducani and Tomai from the Leova district, phase 1. The project will be implemented in 2021, with financing from the National Regional Development Fund (FNDR).
The works within the project are to start in next spring, after the National Council of Coordination of Regional Development will approve the decision of allocating the financing from FNDR of the investment measures scheduled within this infrastructure regional project.
The value of the construction and assembling works, which represents the object of the contract signed by the sides, is of 19, 753, 271.89 lei.
The entrepreneur nominated took commitment to carry out the works seen in the contract in a period of five calendar months from the moment of contract’s registration at the Public Procurements Agency and issuance of the order of starting the carrying out. Antreprenorul desemnat și-a asumat angajamentul să execute lucrările prevăzute în contract în termen de cinci luni calendaristice din momentul înregistrării contractului la Agenția Achiziții Publice şi eliberării ordinului de începere a execuției.
The project on supply with drinking water of the three beneficiary settlements from the Leova district sees the building, at the first stage of interior aqueduct networks in the villages of Sarma and Tochile-Raducani and at the second stage, the interior aqueduct network is to be constructed in the Tomai village.
About 6,500 local residents to have access to a safe water supply source as a result of the investments made from FNDR sources.
