Moldovan government approves regulation on state reserves' control

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - The acting cabinet of ministers today approved a regulation on the control of the state and mobilization reserves. The carrying out of this decision is entrusted with the Interior Ministry.  

The regulation on the control of state and mobilization reserves regulates the goal, principles, objectives, subjects which stay at the basis of the exercising the control, their rights and obligations, as well as the way of organization, planning and carrying out of the control of the state and mobilization reserves.   

„The regulation’s goal is to ensure the quantitative and qualitative integrity of the material assets from the state and mobilization reserves and to observe the legislation in the field of state and mobilization reserves. The provisions of the current regulation are executory for the subjects (control staff and depositaries in charge), who carry out the control, manage and have obligation to ensure the quantitative and qualitative integrity of the material assets from the state and mobilization reserves,’’ the document reads.  

The goals pursued in the process of carrying out the control refer to: protection of the state’s interests as to the management of the state and mobilization reserves; verifying the way and activities of management of material assets from the state and mobilization reserves. If identifying and finding out the irregularities and drawbacks as to the quantity and/or quality of material assets from the state and mobilization reserves; verifying the observance of the legislation in the field of state and mobilization reserves, as well as the provisions of the contracts concluded for the preservation of material assets from the state reserves; the way of ensuring the security and quantitative and qualitative integrity of the material assets of the state and mobilization reserves.
