Moldovan president approaches current situation in country

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu approached today the current situation in the country with acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi. They discussed the situation in the economic and health sectors, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state also reviewed the issues discussed with the leaders of key EU institutions during her official visit to Brussels and the need for the government to take action to ensure the timely implementation of commitments with the European Union. At the same time, referring to the urgent needs, the president noted ensuring the fastest possible access to the anti-Covid-19 vaccine for our citizens and signing the contract for resilience worth 15 million euros as a grant.
"Even if the current government does not have full powers, the people are waiting and need help from the state. That's what we all need to do - come up with concrete actions in support of the citizens ", Maia Sandu said.
