Moldovan parliament speaker discusses with her Turkish counterpart

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today discussed with her counterpart from Turkey, Mustafa Şentop, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.

The officials tackled aspects on the Moldova-Turkey cooperation, including at the level of the legislative bodies and within the regional and international inter-parliamentary organizations.

The sides also referred to measures on combating the infection with coronavirus and the social and economic consequences of the pandemic.

Speaker Zinaida Greceanii reiterated the invitation made to Mustafa Şentop to pay an official visit to Moldova.

The parliament speaker noted that the visit by the high Turkish official would help strengthen the cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries.
