Chisinau Municipal Council backs correlation of municipal budget with transfers from state budget

Chisinau, 21 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today approved the correlation of the municipal budget for 2021, which envisages that the part of incomes and expenses is increased by 55.46 million lei.

The Chisinau Municipal Council backed with the votes of 26 municipal councilors the increase in the revenues of the municipal budget by 42 million lei at the expense of the state budget transfers, meant for the repair of the ways of access to yards and the purchasing of medical equipment for the needs of the Municipal Clinical Hospital Saint Archangel Michael.

Also, the municipal councilors supported the indexes of the municipal budget in terms of revenues and expenses, for 2021, through the increase by 13.48 million lei (646,052.69 euros) as grant, within the project on modernization of the public transport system, Move IT Like Lublin, financed by the European Union.   

The budget of the Chisinau municipality for 2021 envisages revenues worth 4.78 billion lei, of which 2.68 billion lei as transfers from the state budget and expenses amounting to 6.32 billion lei.
