Moldovan parliament speaker meets Ambassador of Hungary to Moldova

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today met Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary to Moldova Sándor Szabó, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.

The two officials discussed the Moldova-Hungary cooperation in various sectors, noting the high level of the Moldovan-Hungarian bilateral relations.

The sides also tackled the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures needed to combat it, including the anti-coronavirus vaccination.

The interlocutors voiced hope for the overcoming of the global health crisis and full resumption of the good work in all fields.

In the context, the officials discussed the necessity to resume approaches for organizing a visit to Moldova by Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary László Kövér, leading a parliamentary delegation.
