Chisinau experts, sanitary authorities of Transnistrian region coordinate anti-Covid actions

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/ - Experts in the health care sector from Chisinau today discussed aspects on supply with anti-Covid vaccine with representatives of the health system from the Transnistrian region.  

The state secretary at the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), Tatiana Zatic, unveiled measures undertaken to provide Moldova with anti-Covid vaccine on the COVAX platform, provisions of the national plan on anti-Covid immunization, stages of vaccination, conditions of delivery and preservation of the vaccine, record of the reactions to the preparation’s application, as well as other aspects. She noted that immediately as the vaccine is brought to Moldova, it would be distributed to the region from the left bank of Dniester too. In the context, the state secretary asked undertaking all stages of preparation for the residents’ immunization.  

The representatives of the left bank of Dniester said they were open for coordinating the process of preparation for the population’s immunization. They stressed the importance of holding additional trainings for the medical employees from the region and the exchange of relevant information on the concerned subject.
