Chisinau mayor to make known to public contributions of each employee of municipality

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/- The members of the boards of directors of municipal enterprises receive a higher salary than the management of the local public administration in the capital.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban revealed the salaries raised by the management of the local public administration. Thus, he has a salary of 18 thousand lei, deputy mayors - 16 thousand lei. At the same time, the salary of a member of the boards of directors of municipal enterprises is 26 thousand lei.

At the beginning of today's meeting of the municipal services, Ceban said he will make known to the public the contributions of each employee of the municipality.

He noted that in 2020, for carrying out 25 meetings, the councilors were paid 4 million 300 lei. "In the case of some councilors, who are members of various boards of directors of municipal enterprises, they receive a salary of about 26 thousand lei" he said.
