Moldovan capital's city hall to allocate compensations to about 21,000 disadvantaged people

Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall has informed that a number of 21,253 people would receive compensations at making payments for public utilities and energy resources for the 2020-2021 cold season.
At a today’s online meeting of the Chisinau municipal services, the heads of the housing, communal and arrangement general department, Ion Burdiumov, said that the lists with beneficiaries of compensations were at the praetor’s offices and mayoralties from the suburbs. ‘’The applications of those 21,253 persons who demanded such compensations are to be processed and verified by the praetor’s offices and mayoralties of the suburban communes, where commissions were set up, due to directly deal with this. The final lists with the beneficiaries will be reach the housing, communal and arrangement general department and subsequently they are to be submitted to the discount operators,’’ Burdiumov noted.
According to the official, the sums of the invoices for public utilities and energy resources for the cold season 2020-2021 will be recalculated.
The officials of the local public administration informed that the beneficiaries of compensations from the previous years would not submit applications for getting these compensations; this will be made only by the persons who enter this system of payments for the first time ever.
Budgetary means worth over 80 million lei were earmarked for compensating the expenses for public utilities and energy resources to the disadvantaged people from the Chisinau city.
