About 1.4 million citizens expected to renew passports in 2021

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- The Public Services Agency (ASP) warns about the expiration of the validity of passports in 2021 for 366,061 citizens. At the same time, the number of Moldovan citizens, who previously held a passport, but, according to the situation on January 1, 2021, do not hold a valid passport, is 1,024,959 people.

In this context, not to admit the formation of queues during the summer at the multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency, the institution comes with a recommendation to citizens to ensure in time to get the passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova.

The Public Services Agency indicates that it is available to provide Moldovan citizens with identity documents within the territorial subdivisions of the institution, according to the work schedule: Monday to Friday, and Monday to Saturday - in multifunctional centers in Chisinau, Balti, Cahul , Anenii Noi, Orhei, Ungheni, Ialoveni, Rezina, Ștefan Vodă, Floresti, Sângerei, Soroca and the Varnița identity card issuance service.
