Moldovan deputy premier meets Ukrainian envoy

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Olga Cebotari had a working meeting today with Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko, the Office for Reintegration Policies has reported.
Cebotari informed the Ukrainian diplomat on recent developments in the negotiation on Transnistrian settlement, namely the activation of dialogue platforms at working group level, the recent meeting of political representatives in the negotiation for Transnistrian settlement, and the working visit of the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Transnistrian Settlement, Thomas Mayr-Harting.
At the same time, Chisinau's priorities for this year in negotiations and reintegration policies were announced, noting the need to advance on issues of major importance and which aim primarily at guaranteeing the inalienable rights of citizens, unblocking free movement and protection of health.
In this context, the deputy premier approached the start of the information campaign for the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region crossing with means of transport the crossing points of the state border of the Republic of Moldova regarding the categories of plates and accompanying documents to be obtained / held in order to participate in international road traffic.
The officials were open to further cooperation and to ensure a mutually beneficial dialogue for the interests of both states.
