Roadmen monitor public roads in Moldova in conditions of Yellow Code of glazed frost

Chisinau, 1 February /MOLDPRES/ - The works of patrol, combating the glazed frost and clearing the snow continued in the regions where interventions of the territorial units of the Drumuri (Roads) stock company today, in the context of the Yellow Code of complicated weather conditions and glazed frost. The monitoring of the public roads continues, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) has reported.

According to ASD, the technological process was carried out with the involvement of 230 special vehicles and 223 road workers from the cities of Chisinau, Balti, districts of Falesti, Sangerei, Cahul, Cantemir, Causeni Stefan Voda, Basarabeasca, Cimislia, Leova, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Dubasari, Briceni, Donduseni, Edinet, Ocnita, Hancesti, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Orhei, Rezina, Telenesti, Drochia, Glodeni, Rascani, Floresti, Soroca, Soldanesti, Calarasi, Straseni, Ungheni and the Autonomous Territorial Units of Gagauzia.

The State Administration of Roads warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the road traffic regulation as to the vehicles’ endowment with proper tyres for the winter season and adaptation of the speed to the current traffic conditions. Drivers can demand roadmen’s intervention in case of risks in traffic 24 hours at the active phone numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

Meteorologists said that the Yellow Code of glazed frost will maintain in Moldova, with air temperature of up to +4 Celsius degrees during the day and down to -6 degrees at night.
