Roadmen continue patroling national roads in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The road traffic is ensured on the national roads; the works of patrol and combating the glazed frost continue, according to State Administration of Roads (ASD).  

In the last 24 hours, in the conditions of fog and wet roadway, territorial units of the Drumuri (Roads) stock company have carried out patrol works on all national public roads and works of combating the glazed frost were carried out in north Moldova too.  

„Thirteen special vehicles and 28 road workers were involved in the technological process,’’ ASD said.

Roads’ managers continuously monitor all dangerous road segments, so that any difficulty appeared in traffic is settled quickly. The State Administration of Roads warns drivers to comply with the provisions of the road traffic regulation as to the vehicles’ endowment and driving in winter conditions. Drivers can demand roadmen’s intervention if necessary on national roads 24 hours at the active phone numbers: 22-55-30; 74-89-61; 060 477 117.

The air temperature will increase up to +12 Celsius degrees today. At night, the air temperature will drop to -2 degrees. On 5 February, the weather will cool by several degrees and a colder weather traditionally is expected in northern Moldova.
