Residents from Moldovan capital's suburbs involved in working out of city's development strategy

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The local authorities and the citizens from the settlements Budesti, Tohatin, Cruzesti and Colonita have been involved in the process of working out of the social and economic strategy of development of the Chisinau municipality.

Russian architects who elaborate the plan on arrangement of the Chisinau city met local authorities and citizens, in order to learn the needs of the people from these settlements. The participants in the discussions analyzed such aspects as the facilitation of the quick connection between settlements; rethinking and construction of the main roads, changing the routes meant for the public transport, etc.

The plan on arrangement of the Chisinau city’s territory is a strategic document, which will establish the vision and priorities of the Moldovan capital’s development for a longer period of time.

The activities designed to work out the plan started in June 2020 and the process sees a comprehensive documentation of the current situation. The first stage was given final touches and consists in substantiation studies.
