Meteorologists inform about Yellow Code of strong wind in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has informed about a Yellow Code of wind gusting till 5 February.

According to meteorologists, starting from today evening till 5 February, gusting of the north-western wind up to 15-20 metres/second is expected.

In the context, rescuers recommend avoiding of places where there are dry trees or high-tension electric wires.

The weather will slightly cool with the strong wind. SHS’ data shows that the air temperature will oscillate between 0 and -5 Celsius degrees at night and will increase up to +5 degrees during the day.

In case of Yellow Code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous; the meteorological phenomena forecast are usual for Moldova’s territory; yet, they may temporarily become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
