Moldovans suffering in the wake of Chernobyl accident to be able to receive money in exchange for treatment tickets

Chisinau, 4 February /MOLDPRES/ - The people who have suffered in the wake of the Chernobyl accident will benefit from money compensation in exchange for treatment tickets at health resorts. The parliament approved a draft law to this effect in the final reading today.
The draft sees giving right to money compensation, in exchange for the treatment tickets at health resorts for the people who suffered following the Chernobyl accident, their children, as well as the employees of the special risk subdivisions, who fell sick with actinic disease or became people with disabilities and cannot exercise their right to free of charge treatment in health resorts because of medical contraindications.
According to the authors, the amendments will allow the people, who because of medical contraindications cannot go to health resorts, to use the money compensation for treatment in line with the individual needs.
The enforcement of the present draft will not need the allocation of additional financial means from the state budget.
