Concert halls, community centres from Moldova reopened for audience

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - The theatrical and concert institutions, as well as the community centres reopen for audience; yet, they will have to work at a capacity of 50 per cent of the number of places and with maximal presence of 250 people, in order to be able to efficiently manage the flows of visitors and ensure the observance of the sanitary and epidemiological measures. The decision was approved at a today meeting of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP), chaired by acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Also, the public nourishments units of any type will be able to sell products in packages, in the time interval 22:00-7:00, and their consumption inside these units is banned.
The work of movies theatres will be further restricted, as most of them are in Chisinau, Balti and other cities, where the number of new cases is increasing. Following the analysis of the evolution of the epidemiological situation, CNESP finds out that the epidemiological situation is unfriendly. In the last five weeks, about 3,000 cases per week have been recorded. On 4 February 2021, 15,428 people were under medical supervision, of whom 2,427 are hospitalized and 3,248 are treated at home.
The Commission said that, depending on the evolution and tendency of the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 infection, the restrictive measures would be revised.
