Decision No 43 of Moldova's National Extraordinary Public Health Commission from 5 February 2021

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - Under the Article 58 from the Law No 10/2009 on the state supervision of the public health sector (Official Journal, 2009, No 67, Article 183), with the subsequent amendments, as a result of the analysis of the evolution of the epidemiological situation, the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP) finds out that the epidemiological situation is unfriendly, being prompted mainly by the major negative tendencies recorded in certain administrative and territorial units of Moldova. To enhance the efficiency of the measures applied to prevent and control the COVID-19 infection, CNESP   

DECIDES:

1. The commercialization of food products is allowed in packages at the public nourishment units of any type in the time interval 22:00-7:00, with the exclusion of possibilities of their consumption at the headquarters/on the territory of these units.   

2. The point 7 of CNESP’s Decision No 42 from 13 January 2021 will have the following version:  

„7. The carrying out of activities with the presence of audience is banned at the headquarters of movie theatres.’’

3. The point 8 of CNESP’s Decision No 42 from 13 January 2021 will have the following version:

„8. The carrying out of activities with the presence of audience is allowed at the headquarters of the theatrical and concert institutions, as well as community centres at a capacity of 50 per cent of the number of places, but no more than 250 spectators, with the observance of the provisions of the Instruction on the measures of prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection, applied at the organization of cultural events/actions at the headquarters of the theatrical and concert institutions and community centres, approved through the Decision No 31 of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission from 24 September 2020.’’

4. The restrictive measures will be revised, depending on the evolution and tendency of the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 infection.

5. The public order sector authorities are asked to intensify the supervision of the observance by private people and legal entities of the measures of prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection.

6. The decisions of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission are executory for the central and local public administration authorities, for private people and legal entities, no matter the activity sector and the legal form of organization.  

7. The territorial extraordinary public health commissions will ensure the revision of all decisions/instructions approved, bringing them in line with the Decisions of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission of Moldova.  

8. CNESP recommends that media representatives inform the public about the need to strictly observe the measures of prevention and control of the COVID-19 infection.

9. The non-observance of the public health measures, set forth in the present Decision, represents danger for the public health and will serve as reason for calling the guilty people to contravention/criminal account. 

10. The present decision enters into force starting the moment of its issuance and is published on the Government’s official webpage.
